Troubleshooting Guide

Having trouble with Universal TV Remote? Follow these steps to resolve the most common issues quickly.

Quick Fixes

Try these first — they resolve most issues in under a minute.

1

Restart Both Devices

Turn off your TV and phone, wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on. This resolves 70% of connection issues.

2

Check Wi-Fi Connection

Ensure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Different networks prevent communication.

3

Update the App

Check the App Store or Google Play for updates. Newer versions often fix bugs and add support for more TV models.

4

Reset Network Settings

On iPhone go to Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings if connection issues persist.
